Why Green Cuppos?
Green Cuppos, work together to create and design eco- friendly, bio-compostable manufacturing unit in India. We inducted ourselves into the field by the end of 2016, with an exclusive focus to usher our vision, mission and values into reality. Green Cuppos started with an intention to bring forth peace of mind to this grotty world, with safe and effective biodegradable products. We reinforce our consumers to live in an eco-conscious lifestyle.

To proffer you a calibre solution to the problem of petroleum-based plastic products. We strive hard to preserve nature and our earth pollution free for our future generations.

A solution to the problem
History
- We all presume that they make the plastics from one element, it’s not so.
- They manufacture plastics from 20 petroleum-based resins with different levels of recyclability and toxicity. Hardly 8% of plastic wastes are recycled, the remaining 91% is sent to landfills or incinerated which causes several major issues.
- Many resins and chemicals that plastics emit are harmful and dangerous for many species on earth.
- If an organism consumes this toxin, which remains in land or water, they cannot break the toxins or excrete the toxins from their body. When this organism falls as a prey to the predator, the toxin gets settled in the predator’s body too.
- When plastics disposed on lands, they leach countless amount of toxins to the soil.
- We bring a solution to all these problems. Compostable plastics are the next generation of plastics. They are manufactured from polylactic acid. PLA is made of dextrose, a kind of sugar produced by plants.
- These plastics are accredited to break down in a commercial composting process within 3-6 months. They get decomposed as water, biomass and carbon dioxide.break the toxins or excrete the toxins from their body. - Our Managing Director, Mr Senapathy, has been working for solid waste management organization for more than five years where he was accountable for the collection, transportation, treatment is segregated and disposed to ensure zero waste.
- While working over there he has witnessed the difficulties and problems in recycling the plastics. He thought to bring a solution to this issue, to save our environment.
- These Plastics not only affect land they are moving slowly its hands in affecting even the water resources like oceans, and seas.
- They cause physical danger to living species. Marine birds, turtles, fish which mistake the plastics as planktons, when they consume it, it leads to their death.
- He wished to contribute something from his side for the healthy ecosystem, for the welfare of our biodiversity and habitats. So, the spark that ignited in him seeing the collapsed world has made him to start Green Cuppos for the welfare of our society.
- Having said that he is still a consultant to the company where he provides his services to the organization.
